An exclusive International competition for the design of the Holocaust Museum in a historical building at the heart of the city. The basic concept consists of a longitudinal line passing from the street to the inner edge of the building, symbolizing the continuous line of events which began with the Nazi up-rise and ended with the execution of the "final solution". The visitors follow the history of the Jewish culture step by step reaching its horrible destiny, experiencing the horrors. The complex includes an auditorium, a library, and authentic collections by South American survivors. The entry won 1st prize.
